What should you pay attention in social media marketing?

Nowadays, social media sites are an essential marketing platform for businesses. Whether it's B2B or B2C sales, our customers and clients are eager to contact us and follow our activities in the online space.

We've rounded up some of the pitfalls of social media marketing that you should avoid ensuring success.

Before you go online:

Without a comprehensive social media strategy, don't get started!

For effective online marketing, you need to manage your various social media channels in a coordinated and conscious way. It would be best if you didn't use your channels independently of each other, but sharing the same content across all platforms is not a good solution either.
Using social media can waste time and money without the right strategy. It's also important to tailor content to the platform and target audience and define the right online marketing mix.

First, we recommend clarifying the characteristics of the target group you want to reach and choosing the right social media channels and content.

Define KPIs and targets!

An essential part of the strategy is to set the targets you want to achieve and to pair them with numbers. That is the best way to monitor your results and, where appropriate, the return on your advertising spend.
At least quarterly, it is worth reporting, analyzing, and reviewing the results of your online communications and, if necessary, setting new targets and KPIs.

Be clear about who you want to reach!

One of the big advantages of Facebook ads is that they can reach a particular target group. Before you start anything, do a thorough target group research. If you know who you want to target, you will be able to deliver your important communication messages much more easily and clearly.
Once you're online:

Reply to incoming comments and messages!

One of the worst strategies is to ignore comments on your posts or delete negative feedback. It's worth thinking about what questions you might have about some of your products or services and developing ready responses. In the case of unexpected negative feedback, it is important, to be honest, and interact quickly.

Remember, no one can represent your brand more authentically than you, so don't be afraid to engage in dialogue to make a good impression on other customers or prospects.

Regularly monitor your inbox and provide feedback on questions. If you feel you don't have the capacity to do this, set up an auto-response describing how interested parties can contact you.

Check your posts before publishing!

Read it again or ask someone else to do it if you feel you can't see any more errors in the text. Of course, people can make mistakes, but it doesn't matter if you make a small typo or a grammatical error.

It's also worth double-checking links at least twice to make sure they take the reader to the right place. And if you cite data, research or studies, always cite the original source.

The same applies to images. Don't use images, photos, or videos from dubious sources... There are a lot of free stock photo portals available today where you can find good-quality images. If you don't have a graphic designer, you can also create simpler graphics in Canva.

Follower purchase NEVER!

Sometimes, despite our best efforts, our following doesn't grow as fast as we would like. The various social media platforms are tools for long-term brand building, so don't be impatient! The work and money invested will definitely pay off; a small but relevant following is definitely worth more than an artificially inflated community that is not interested in your content.

That is why we do not recommend buying followers for money. Facebook and Instagram penalize this, so you can ruin the results you've already achieved.
